It's been too long since an update, there has just been so much happening!
In Januaray I released Neighbour, which is a part of a wonderful charity anthology called Unapologetic Love. To say I'm obsessed with these characters is a massive understatement. I had a hard time keeping to the word limit because I could have gone on forever. I do plan to release a bonus scene or two at some point, but I'm currently completely engrossed in a new world.

It's not quite midnight, but the countdowns will start soon enough. I wanted to leave the year on a good note before a good night's rest.
2024 has been an amazing year filled with high highs and tough pills to swallow, but mostly it was the year I became a published author. I can't be mad at that.
I started 2024 by joining a writer's group, a Christmas gift to myself—what did I have to lose? Nothing. I didn't lose a thing, and I gained so much more than I could ever imagine. I'm entering 2025...
I am in the trenches.
Sometime in September, I signed up for a 90-day writing challenge, thinking that it would be a fitting way to finish the year with the same energy I started. After all, I began 2024 by joining a writer's group with the goal of releasing my first book this year. Somehow I managed to put out three amazing stories, so what could go wrong with a few more goals? Turns out, a lot.

This week I celebrate a month of Falling For Forever being out in the world and 'Published Author' is still something that sounds foreign to me.
If you follow me on Instagram you know that the weeks leading up to release day were a tad bit chaotic and appropriately followed by a vacation from hell. It has been such a wild week!
Despite many hiccups, all my PR boxes and packets have gone out and are starting to arrive. My novella, Falling For Forever, released without issue, making me a Published Author, and I am now gearing up for my birthday celebrations this weekend!
It still feels a bit surreal and I'm trying to break the habit of stalking my KDP reporting but all in all, I couldn't be happier.
This has certainly given me the boost and excitement to get back into book 2! I can't wait...
